How to set up itunes on new laptop without erasing my iphone data?
I just bought a new laptop and want to setup the itunes. Problem is i'm not sure what will happen once my phone syncs to the itunes. I don't want to lose any of my pictures or music. Is there any way that is possible?
An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes account at a time. Once you switched iPhone to a new iTunes account or a new computer. You have to authorize the iPhone to it in advanced, then you can upload files from the new iTunes to your iPhone. But this way will overwrite the original files on iPhone with the new iTunes library. You may try this iPhone file manager, it can help you copy files from iPhone to computer for backup, you can also use it as an iTunes alternative to upload songs, photos and videos. It will not erase your original iPhone files.
- With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points
- Will iTunes wipe out my iPhone data if it wants to Set as New iPhone? I've owned an iPhone 5s for over a year, it's currently running iOS 10.3.3 but I've just connected to iTunes for the first time however I only get 2 options, either "Set it up as new iPhone" or "Restore from an old backup", but that last backup is from 2015. So, if if I select "As New iPhone" will it wipe out my data?
- Why does my iPhone 4 keep erasing all data? Why does my iphone 4 erase all data when the battery dies? So it erases all data, and has the same icon when you first buy it and need to sync it to iTunes (has the iTunes. Logo and the sync cable going up toward the iTunes logo. Just like when you first buy it and turn it on). Best answer 10 points!
