How to stop text messages showing up on the lock screen for individual contacts?
I know how to stop previews of messages showing up and also how to stop messages showing up on the lock screen altogether on an iPhone 4S but I was just wondering if its possible to keep messages showing up on the lock screen but stop it for individual contacts so that when they text it does not show up?
Unfortunately you can't do this for individual contacts, only for all contacts altogether.
- Why are contacts showing up twice under messages on my iPhone? This morning when my boyfriend sent me a text it showed up under a second listing of his name instead of the one already in my messages. They are listed exactly the same, but one only contains messages from this morning. Why is it doing this/how do I fix it? I have an iPhone 4 running iOS6 that hasn't been updated since that came out in the fall. My email contacts aren't synced to my phone, so that can't be the cause.
- My photos are not sending in group messages, but are sending in individual messages? I'm with Straight Talk Wireless. At first my pictures were sending in the group message but now they are not. I don't know what's wrong, all my settings are what they are suppose to be, and I'm currently on an iPhone 5s IOS 8.4.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Iphone will not let me delete individual text messages! Solve please? I have iphone 4s and i do not want to delete the whole convo just certain messages. As in if I sent the same message twice. I go to edit the trash and forward options are greyed out and I can't delete anything. I do not want to delete the entire convo.
