How to survive a long school coach trip?

I have a 9 hour drive tomorrow! I'm going to London and I'm having trouble finding ways to avoid total insanity!

Just some ways to avoid boredom please, oh and any good apps for iphone 4?

Listening to music
Dumb ways to die
Happy pudding jump

Learn Icelandic.
Impress your friends by pronouncing words like Eyjafjallajökull, Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur, and then listen to an amazing band called Of Monsters and Men.

I was on a 17 hour coach trip to Paris with some idiots from my school once, I feel your pain, long road trips are so boring! My advice would be to:
a) take a book, or two, if you read
b) take some magazines
c) if you are travel sick, definitely take a tablet or two with you
d) take an ipod or a nintendo ds or something portable
e) take lots of food!
f) apps for iphone like wattpad, candy crush, temple run and that farm saga one are very addictive and time consuming
g) take a pillow so you can maybe sleep in the car/coach
h) have a good time in London! It's fantastic, I went last year to see Wicked on a science trip with the school… The national science museum and history museums are both absolutely fantastic

I've been on a 5 hour bus journey with the school and i found that these helped:
-listening to music
-eating sweets
-playing on games such as:
-candy crush
-pet reacue saga
- dumb ways to die
-doodle jump
-fruit ninja
-talking to your friends
-sleeping
-causing trouble
-pissing off teachers
-throwing food down the bus

For the few bottom ones you would need to be sat right at the back of the bus with loads of people who like causing trouble.

  • Would I be allowed to take a washing up basket on the national express coach as hand luggage? It will have 10 tops and jeans inside it will it be allowed I'll post a pic of the basket. It's like that but plastic.
  • What to bring in a very long car trip? Tomarrow me and my family are going in a car trip for about 16 or 15 hours. I was wondering what I could bring to keep myself entertained. This is what I will bring. iPhone 4 books Movies and a DVD player Blanket and pillow Colored pens and pencils with paper My flute and music And I will have music to listen to on my iPhone Do you think that is enough, or should I bring more or leave some stuff behind?
  • What's the best way to plan out a long bike trip? In about a month ill be biking from Boston, Mass to Miami, Florida. I'm wondering what's the best way to plan the route out. Any good iPhone apps that give you good step by step directions like a GPS? Take it day by day? What do you think?
  • I'm going to Chicago soon for a school trip what should I do on the long bus ride? It's like 5-8 hours away and I don't have an iphone or iPod touch (got my iphone taken away bc I got a c in one of my classes), I have a DS that i'm obsessed with (I know, i'm lame), but I kinda want to know some other things i could do besides play on that. I will have a friend next to me, thanks!
