How to switch between silent and vibrate on iphone 6s?
I never use ring so i want to switch between vibrate and silent with the switch on the side
The silent switch is just that. The closest you could get to is to use Do Not Disturb. The switch does not turn off vibrate.
- What's the difference between vibrate, silent, and muted volume when receiving calls? For the Iphone 4s. If I have my volume up (ie watching videos will tha make it ring.) Basically I don't want it to ring or vibrate, but I want it to have volume for other things.

In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
- My iphone 5 will only vibrate and not ring. Yes, the volume is all the way up. I checked. I went into settings and choose a ringtone? All this phone does is vibrate. Any ideas on what the problem can be. I have tried turning the power off and restarting the phone still only vibrates and does not ring. It worked.
