How to switch to a iPhone 5 to a 5s?

I currently have the iPhone 5 and I had it since two weeks after it came out. I'm thinking of going to a Apple Store to trade or upgrade it to a 5s and I'm wondering how much would that cost? Do I simply just bring my phone to the store? What about the EarPods and the charger?

You would most likely go to your carrier's store. (Verizon, AT&T etc.) The cost would vary depending on your carrier. It would cost $100 to get an iPhone 5s on Verizon, with the rest of the cost of the phone spread over 2 years. To spend the entire price up front would cost $550. Charger and EarPods are incuded. Bring your phone with you when you go.

  • Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?

  • If I switch my iPhone 5 Sim Card to a factory unlocked iPhone 5, will it still work? I have AT&T. If I take out my current iPhone 5 sim card and place it into another iPhone 5 that is factory unlocked and purchased from Apple will it automatically transfer all the memory to the new iPhone?
