How to sync iPhone to new iTunes without deleting my books?
I have a new iTunes on my laptop (PC) and I want to sync my iphone 4S but when I click sync or apply it tells me that I could lose the data. Please if someone could tell me how to sync it without erasing the books from iBooks. I don't really care about the apps but the books are very important to me so I don't wanna lose them.
You're fine. Why? That's is the general idiot warning. Why? Your phone and the new iTunes 'don't know each other yet'. When you sync it for the first time the phone might prompt you to 'trust' this new machine. Say Yes. They will then chat and sync your stuff thus making a copy of phone on iTunes. Think about it. If it's a fresh iTunes like you said there's nothing on the pc to overwrite your phone contents at all. Besides, your iTunes account on the phone will always have them. When you download something from iTunes on an Apple ID account, it's always in there unless you delete it from there for good. Best luck.
Well, not everything on the iPhone is from iTunes or appstore.
- Why can't I hide or delete books on the Books app on my iPhone? I uploaded some free books to read on the app and after a couple chapters wasn't interested in them. I tried to delete them and they didn't go away. I tried to hide them and they still wouldn't go away. Now when I click "edit" it greys out the delete and hide options completely. I'm aggravated because I can't get rid of them no matter what I've tried.

I have music on my phone from CD's I've lost or binned etc. So I was just wondering how do I sync single albums to my phone without deleting contents of iPhone? When I go to click sync, a box comes up asking if I want to remove existing items from iPhone.

It has all of my music, apps, etc. I have a new macbook and I was wondering if I can put my current library on the macbook and sync my phone from there without having to delete and add everything again. - If I sync another iphone to my iTunes will this delete my previous sync on iTunes? I synced my phone to iTunes and now let's say I want to sync my friends iphone to the same computer. Will this delete my previous sync? I'm hoping it does because I want my previous sync deleted as I don't want others getting my stuff on their iPhones thanks heaps
