How to sync MacBook and iPhone mail?
I recently bought a new macbook. I've set up the mail with my gmail account, and everything seems to be working except when I read an email on my iphone, it stays unread on my macbook and vice versa. Is there a way so that they 'see' each other and will know when I have read an email so I don't have to go through my emails twice?
Make sure you have set the sync option at Gmail settings
Open Gmail, and then click on the Help Tab.
And then, read all about Deleting Emails.
Gmail does NOT actually call this SYNCING.
- POP/SMTP mail setup on MacBook and iPhone? I recently purchased a domain name and set up an email account associated with the domain. I would like to set the email up on my MacBook Pro in Apple Mail and on my iPhone4 but am having trouble. My incoming mail server is pop. And the outgoing mail server smtp. And the domain name is registered with fatcow.com. Any help is appreciated!
