How to take the quick menu off iPhone?
On the home screen on an iPhone 4S there's a bar at the bottom that you can put apps in for quick selection. Is there any way I can remove that? Its very annoying and I an already very annoyed with Apple products as they are.

- Will resetting iPhone from Settings menu clear the viruses? I bought an iPhone second-hand. The previous owner claimed that it had a "virus". I know a virus on an iPhone is very unlikely, but considering I'm planning on using this iPhone to check my bank account, I want to make sure there are no viruses. I have Linux, and iTunes is not available for Linux, so I can't restore with iTunes. Would going to Settings and resetting it get rid of this "virus"?

IE it plays when you star the SNES version of Madden 1996, among other Madden games. It was so popular that later it began being played on televised NFL and college football games, and now in the MLB. It used to be available on mix CDs on ebay and amazon, and on the FYE CD making machine. Not on iTunes. Any help is greatly appreciated!
