How to tell if a iPhone is unlocked?
Okay I bought a iPhone 4s from someone who said it was unlocked but how will I know? Do I just put my sim card in it from my virgin mobile blackberry and see if it works? Or do I need to like do something else?

Restore it in iTunes. If iTunes says "This iPhone has been unlocked", it's unlocked. If it is originally an AT&T 3Gs, it iTunes won't say this. Yes, you can sell it to other AT&T users if that is an AT&T 3Gs.
