How to tell who's controlling my Wi-Fi access?
I'm using an HP 2000 notebook with Windows 8. I was playing an online game when I noticed my connection went off. I have the Wi-Fi automatically set to connect whenever I go on, so I found that odd. I noticed that my sister's laptop (she has the same one as me) didn't go off, but instead only mine's. So I check my phone (I have an iPhone 4S), and I notice that the Wi-Fi is off there too. I try reconnecting on that too, but it says it's unable to.
I thought it best to ask my brother because I know he's better at computers than me and I think he did something… He told me he didn't do anything and that he had no idea what I was talking about… I just find it really suspicious. I know he likes to play his Xbox on Live and maybe he did that so I wouldn't interrupt his gaming because too much Wi-Fi being used can affect the game in making it lag, etc. But I don't know.
My question is how can I tell if someone is taking out my ability to use my house Wi-Fi, and if someone is, how do I connect back to it? Please help me out. I'm not really familiar with most computer terms or anything to do with Wi-Fi. I know how to get the router's password and things like that, but nothing too complex.
Any help would be appreciated.
You can try to download FING app from the appstore to your iPhone.
That shows you the devices(and the router-1st) that are connected to your network- if you don't recognize something then you are probably hackd.
But you might try setting your DNS server to that of Google-it sometimes fixes webpages loading…
It is server that translates webpages into ip addresses of servers, if you internet is broken or some pages won't load you can change it to Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 (primary) and 8.8.8.4 (secundary).

Sometimes when devices connect and your Lease time refreshes, sometimes it will kick you off if it fails your have to restart the router so it resets the DHCP table and allows your devices to connect again.
Your Wi-Fi origionates from your Wi-Fi Router. You chould have secured it with WPA PSK encryption so some one else can't use it.
If your bother is using Xbox Live on Wi-Fi, The link could be too busy for you use.
Nobody is controling your Wi-Fi except you.
Find your Wi-Fi Router and connect a computer to it by CABLE and check the settings.
- Why does my iphone screen keep controlling itself? So my iphone is in horrible shape, in terms of a broken screen. It's having a hard time responding to touch and I can't type. Also, it keeps opening apps on its own. Someone told me that the screen is pressing up against the digitizer and is acting as if I was touching the screen due to the cracks. If so, can I just replace the broken screen or do I have to buy another phone? I want to wait on the iphone 6 to use my upgrade.
