How to text my iphone 5s messages on my desktop?
I get a lot of texts for work and I would like to be able to answer my texts from my computer.
If you have an iMac of MacBook computer, this is feasible. If you, however, own a windows computer, you will not be able to do this. If you do use a Mac, locate the iMessage app. (you may use finder "command + F" to locate the app.) Once you do this, sign into the apple account (the same one as you have on your iPhone) and select your phone number when you select what you wish to send/receive texts from.) You must note that you will ONLY receive texts from other iPhones.
I understand that your probably type faster with a keyboard than on the phone. For you and your needs, I would suggest purchasing a bluetooth keyboard, such as the link below, so you can type more efficiently.

- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Selling off desktop, laptop in favour of iphone instead? Viable move? I was thinking of selling my laptop and buying an iphone. I only use the internet for random stuff and facebook/emails/google etc. would this work? Should i bother?
- My iphone can't detected by my laptop and desktop pc (in all usb ports)? Just from last 2-3 hours my laptop and pc says-"usb device not recogniced'. Same problem with all usb ports
