How to transfer music from my 3rd gen iPod to my iPhone 5?

I'm normally pretty good with computer stuff but I just can't figure this out. I plugged in my iPod and opened iTunes. It automatically transferred all my music. I manually downloaded it all to the cloud and then to my iPhone. It left out a couple dozen songs and will not let me drag and transfer them to my computer or iPhone. All, y music is still on my iPod but how do I get it to my computer and then my iPhone?

If home sharing is there in ipod 3g then use it. Or itunes should work fine.else you can download a file browser named Disk Aid and copy all the songs to your computer from ipod then plug in iphone and copy it back.

Then why do you have music on your iPod but not your computer? Did you download directly to your iPod before you learned how to copy from it? Did you download to your computer and then not know that any number of freeware programs (imageburn) can copy large numbers of files to CDR?
