How to transfer my ringtones and message tones from iPhone 3 to 4?
I've got everything else backed up on iCloud but when I changed phones last time I lost all my tones I'd purchased from the iTunes Store. How do I put them on the new phone? I don't have Internet access except via the phone and I use iTunes with a cable connect on my PC. I'm asking in advance in case I can back them up this way - I've got windows 7 home, media player 10 and whatever the latest iTunes version is!
Just connect the iPhone 4 & have the same sync options as the iPhone 3G or 3GS (there's no iPhone 3).
Media Player doesn't matter.
- Why won't my file appear in Tones? Ok, I'm kind of in a hurry here. I have a ringtone on my computer (it's a Dell) that is an.m4r and under 30 seconds and everything required to be a ringtone on my phone (iPhone 4) but whenever I drag it from my Libraries to Tones it just does, nothing. Nothing appears and I can't get anything in the tones section of iTunes. Can somebody Please help?
- My iphone 4s won't play text tones or have media volume? My iphone 4s recently stopped playing text tones and when i try to listen to any sort of media, the volume is gone and will not turn up. The switch on the side is on, i checked and its been like this for weeks. I was wondering if there's anything i can do to fix this problem.
- IPhone Ring tones? How do they work? I recently got an iPhone, and I have an idea for a great ringtone, but I don't want the ringtone to be in my music if you understand what I mean, is that at all possible? Like is there anyway where I can have that song as my ringtone but the song itself would not be found in my music folder? Also if that doesn't work then once i have that song as my ringtone then can I delete that song from my iTunes/iPhone and still have it as my ringtone?
- IPhone 4S text tones don't work? It seems to be a common problem from what I've read… But I was wondering if there was a solution. I've gotten a few texts and it didn't make a sound. I've read one thing that had to do with iCloud, but I'm not using iCloud… Anyways, is there a solution to this problem?
