How do I transfer pix from IPhone to Asus comp?

This will work on any PC, even if you do not have iTunes installed.

Take the 30-pin Dock Connector (if you have an iPhone 4s or earlier) or your 8-pin Lightning Connector (if you have an iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c) and use it to connect your iPhone to your PC.

Then, go to My Computer from the Start Menu, or press winkey + E if you're on Windows 8 or 8.1.

There should be something like this with the rest of your drives:

Click that, then Internal Storage, and then DCIM.

Now comes the annoying part. There might be several folders.

You have to look through all of these folders to find the pictures that you need, and they will be in semi-random order. I have not found a more efficient way to do this, but have my eyes peeled for one.

All you have to do after you find your pictures is just hold down CTRL and click the pictures you want to copy. Then just click and drag them into the folder you want to store them in.

After you're done, you can even delete them from your iPhone right on your computer if you want to.
