How to transfer songs from iPhone 4s to Macbook?

My macbook was swiped of its memory and I lost all my songs. I've been building my playlist for years. Is there a way i could get the songs off my iPhone into a folder on my computer? Is iCloud a solution for this?

You could try iCloud, I use Dropbox though, it's much easier to use for me.
