How to transfer text messages?
I had an iPhone 4, and got an iPhone 5s about 2 months ago.
I want to get my old text messages off of my old phone and onto my new one WITHOUT deleting the ones from the past 2 months, is this possible?
I want my old texts because I want to have the texts from when my boyfriend and I started to date because they are special to me.
Yes, it's possible. You may try this phone to phone transfer. After you connect your iPhone 4 and iPhone 5s to computer with the USB cables, the software will recognize your two iPhones, and then you can drag and drop the messages between them. This app worked for me, hope it helps you.
Sure. It is possible to do that. Third-party programs like iPhone Transfer Platinum can help you transfer music/movie/Pictures/TV Shows/Podcast/iTunes U/eBooks/Camera Roll/Ringtone/SMS/Contacts/Voice memos/Camera shot files from your iPhone to another.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- If I turn off push messages on my iphone 4 will I still get my regular text messages? I read that turning off push messages or setting them to manually helps save battery life. I want to know if I do this will I still be able to receive my regular text messages.
- I can send text messages from my iPhone but can't receive messages? I have an iPhone 5, and i was texting my friends (who also have iPhones) and my messages send to them as text messages (not iMessages) but their texts don't come through to me. I have a macbook air and have my phone number hooked up to messages, so i can receive the messages there, but not my actual phone.
