How to transfer videos from my iPhone 5c to a regular windows 7 laptop? No Mac?
I just transferred my pictures and videos to my laptop and everything was good until I noticed that the videos I transferred, every time I played them, they would play sideways! And I hate that! I don't want to turn my head sideways every time I watch a video. Is it suppose to do that? Or is there a way I can rotate it clockwise?
Depending on the size, it may be possible to attach it to an email and send it that way.
Turning a video 90 degrees is actually quite simple with the right editing software, but it never happens "by accident" when copying a file.
The chance are that the video ISN'T turned sideways - it's more likely that it IS sideways, but you don't notice it because you're watching it on the phone. If you don't have to turn your phone to watch the video, it's because someone turned the video so you don't have to turn the phone.
VirtualDub is a free program for the PC (and maybe other platforms) that can rotate a video any amount, but it's not the easiest program to use. I've found that when it comes to software, power and ease of use tend to be inversely proportional.
- Windows 7 Laptop will not import iPhone 3GS photos, but imports videos? I tried to import photos and videos from my 3GS using the import photos button built in to Windows 7. For some reason the photos will not import when I try, but the videos will. I get the message "The following error occurred while importing IMG_0003.JPG: The system can't find the path specified. What do you want to do? Try again, Skip this file, Skip all files with errors." The phone was unlocked and it still did not work.
- Playing videos from iphone 5 on windows 8 laptop? I have my video saved on my laptop, but I can't play it on any video app. It is a. MOV file but windows media player, youtube, NOTHING will recognize it. Michael; I tried that and it said File Format Error. Any other ideas?
- I'm getting a new laptop soon, Mac or Windows? I currently have a Windows 7 laptop and I've been having a lot of troubles with it. It won't download iTunes and is really slow and I just dislike it. I've heard a lot of good things about the Mac, but I'm still new to Apple products, I also recently bought an iPhone. Should I go for the Mac or buy another Windows laptop? Also, what are some good things about the Mac?
- How to transfer videos from iPhone to Windows Movie Maker? I guess it's not in the right movie format, so how do I convert it? Is there a program I can use for free? I have a iPhone 4S btw.
