How to transfer your information & data from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 3GS?

My iPhone 4 recently stopped working, and I need to transfer all my data onto my previous iPhone 3GS… The SIM cards are different, so I don't even know how to make the iPhone 3GS connect with my phone number.

Well if I'm thinking right, the iPhone 3GS & the iPhone4 have different sized SIM cards, so you won't be able to use your number that you had on the iPhone4 on your iPhone3GS unless you take it up to wherever your cell phone service store is and they could possibly do something to help. Other than that iCloud and iTunes are the best ways to get pictures, music, apps, etc. On to the iPhone3GS but in order to get the pictures and apps you would of had to back it up or sync it recently.
Hope this helped!

  • Will T-Mobile (store) transfer my information into an iPhone 4? I have a Galaxy Exhibit II and I want to buy a T-Mobile iPhone 4 from some one. If I buy it, will I be able to take it to T-Mobile and have them transfer contacts and make it my phone? Will they charge?
  • What information can the feds see when they subpoena your iCloud data? What information can they see like will it be text messages or just call records and text records of you texted?
  • Leaving your 4G on your iPhone 4s at all times won't waste your data right? I leave it on all the time and my plan is 300 MB and I was wondering if I had this on at all times and I don't use the web or anything I just leave my phone alone, it doesn't waste my data right? Very much appreciated!
  • Information about iPhone 3gs with t-mobile Okay I currently have an iPhone 3gs but the ios is still 3.1 and I want to update it to the latest version 6.1 but I'm not sure if it will work with t-mobile because I heard that it will make it locked or something. I can't download any apps that have an ios of 3.2 or higher. I really want to update it but I'm afraid to mess it up or unlock it. Can I update the ios using a t-mobile sim or will it mess up? I really need further information please and thank you so much.
