How to tune into Lifetime Fitness TV stations?
I have an iPhone and I want to listen to the TV shows that they have going on the various screens. Each TV has a small sign under it saying what station to tune into. Is this possible with an iPhone? I have download FM radio apps but its all preset stations. The stations that I need to tune into to hear the TV shows are stations like 88.5 or something, ones I need to manually enter.
Any help would be appreciated!
You need a hardware FM tuner. I'm not sure the iOS devices have that. You should be able to get a pocket FM receiver pretty reasonable.
The so-called FM radio apps have nothing technically to do with receiving FM transmissions in the device, rather they receive the internet streams from radios stations, who may or may not also broadcast on FM.
- Why don't some radio stations have online streams available? Here in South Carolina, every radio station in the cities of Greenville, Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, and Charleston offer online streams and I can listen to them on my desktop, laptop, or IPhone. But stations in Sumter, Orangeburg, and Allendale do not and I can't listen to them anywhere but the radio. Why could this be?
- Where can I find this tune? I'm looking for a tune entitled "Queen of The Senior Prom by Vaughn Monroe which was on the hit parade in 1965. I do not want the Mills Brothers version. I've searched everywhere, but come up empty. I can't even find it in itunes. Do you have any suggestions. If I could get a copy of this tune by Monroe, I'd be very grateful. My Dad always asked me to dance with him to this tune.
