How to turn an iphone 4 into straighttalk plan?

I don't know how to do this so i need someone to help me, like does it matter if it has a contract or
what? I know it needs to be at&t, but like what's a gsm?! Can someone just help and tell me everything i needa do?
The GSM is the network that the phone company is using. So for example, AT&T and T-Movile, including Straight Talk uses GSM.
Verizon, Sprint and Cricket uses CDMA.
So you CAN change your plan to Straight Talk if you have AT&T. But you do need to finish the 2-year contract that is given (unlocked). Or at least that i know of. I heard that it doesn't need to be unlocked but i think thats false. Anyways you might want to talk to your phone company to make sure.
First, go to walmart, buy a Straight talk SIM card (unlimited costs 49 bucks with tax). Scratch off the silver area and you'll find a PIN code, call the number that shows in the card and give that PIN number to the answering machine. You're done!

Will an AT&T iPhone 5 work with straight talk if i order one of the AT&T compatible sim cards off the ST website? I use an AT&T compatible ST SIM card with an AT&T LG Quantum C900. Also, could I get an AT&T iPhone 5 from an AT&T store without putting it on a plan or no?
- Why won't my iphone from straighttalk send pictures? Whenever i try to send pictures, it just says "message failed" I can send pictures to other iphones but when i try to send it to a regular phone, it wil not let me.
- Using the iPhone 4S on StraightTalk? If I bought the iPhone 4S and purchased a StraightTalk SIM card, would I be able to use the iPhone on StraightTalk, or would I have to unlock the phone first and then use it?
- Straighttalk iPhone SIM activation for already Straighttalk activated phone? It says I need a $45 service plan card to activate the SIM card, but is there a way to do it without? My phone has $45 service plan active right now, my SIM card is just malfunctioning, so I need a new one. Or do I have to do it when I refill, no other option?
