How to turn off auto rotation on IPHONE 5c?

By double tapping the home button, supposedly you can turn off auto rotation. But with the iPhone 5c it doesn't work that way. It just shows all your open apps when you double tap. Can somebody please tell me how to turn off auto rotation?

Just scroll upward and you'll see the layout thing with your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth buttons on there. On the upper right hand corner is the rotation button if you turn it on (by clicking it) then it should lock. You phone on portrait mode

Go to settings then general then accessibility then scroll down till you see reduce motion.

Place your finger at the bottom of the screen (on top of the home button) and slide your finger upward. A little page thing will come up and all the way at the top right corner there's a lock and a rotation around it. Touch that and there you go!

Swipe up from the bottom to pull up Control Center. Tap the lock icon with the arrow. Locks the rotation. That was a change from iOS 6 to 7 & since the 5c launched with iOS 7 this is the only way.
