How to turn off iPhone 5 completely?
I've just got an iPhone 5 and your not supposed to have them at school so how do you turn them on silent and turn them off completely. I think I know how but just checking haha.
Hold top right button down for 5ish seconds and slide to power off.
The power/lock button on the top right, press & hold & Slide to shut down. Done. Do Not Disturb would silence the phone of all notifications without having to turn it off though.
- Why did my iphone 5 turn off and not turn on after a ios 6 update? I have tried everything it won't show its charging i tried holding down the power and home button but that won't work, the screen is just black and won't do anything. I even tried plugging it into my laptop and that won't work either How do i put it in DFU? I hook it up to my comp and nothing happens at all. Nothing pops up on my comp and my phone won't turn on at all

- When I turn my iPhone off I don't receive any messages when I turn it back on? My iPhones been like this for a while. I'll turn it off and say my friend will text me, when I turn it back on I won't get any of the messages. Anyone know how to fix this?
- Turn off iPhone 5s completely when abroad? I'm going to Argentina for 3 weeks and I'm taking my iPhone 5s but I plan on turning it completely off. I've read so many horror stories about charges on your bill. I initially planned on turning the roaming off or whatever, but I'm not sure how all that works, so if I turn it off completely will everything be okay? Or do I have to do anything else like remove the sim card.
