Iphone/twitter help! Notifications and twitter texts?

So, i have an iphone. And i use twitter.before i got my ohone i just had the twitter notifications to the people i was subscribed to sent to my phone. But i still use that but it sends me notifications too directly from twitter and i just want my texts. But how do i turn off the notifications without turning off my texts.

  • Why won't my twitter notifications pop up on my iPhone? I restarted my phone about a month ago due to my phone having some problems. After i restarted my phone, I got the twitter app and turned on the notifications even the twitter badge icon. Ever since then, it still hasn't worked. My Facebook and Instagram notifications work but not Twitter. I have iOS 6.1.3 and before I restarted my iPhone, it worked.
  • Why don't twitter notifications work on my iPhone? No twitter app's push notifications work on my iPhone 5. I've tried the regular twitter app, echofon and tweetbot. All my notification options have been on in the settings of the iPhone and in each app. I've used each app singly, deleting the previous one every time I tried a new app. I've restarted the phone, reinstalled the twitter apps but nothing has worked. Been driving me crazy! My other push notifications work from other other apps except twitter.
  • Why am I not receiving the notifications from texts on my iPhone? I have an iPhone 5 and whenever my girlfriend texts me, I don't feel a vibrate, hear a ring, and when I look at my lock screen, there's nothing there, but when I open it and go to our messages, there's like five messages that I haven't gotten notified for. Is this a bug or glitch with the iPhone 5 or is there a fix for this?
