How to unlock a found iPhone 5?
I found this iPhone 5 at a underage party and I was wondering how I can unlock it? Will I get busted if I connect it to my PC?
First of all, instead of taking the phone, you should have taken it to the police or something bc someone out there's probably sad and worried that they have lost their phone.
Most often the phone will have find my iPhone on it so you will get busted that way because they can find where the iPhone is. If it has a password lock on it it's basically worthless because it can't be factory reset. To get it factory unlocked it would cost approx. 100 and you can buy unlocks from several sites including sites like www.i-repair.net which will permanently unlock the phone.
You can't use it without its Apple id. Turn it in so the owner can be located.
The phone can be tracked & you would need the rightful owner's Apple ID password. Try to return it instead.
- I found in Iphone 5 on the bus and it has a passcode lock on it. How do it unlock it? I've tried plugging it into my computer and restoring it using itunes but the passcode lock doesn't allow me to do so. Any tips?
