How to unlock an iphone that I found?
I'm a housekeeper and i recently found a iphone in one of my rooms,
I turned it into lost and found and now three months later no one had claimed it so my work gave it to me but the problem is that it has a passcode on it?
Can you help?
Plug your USB cable into your computer.
Turn your iPhone off by holding the power button down until you see "slide to power off". Do as instructed.
Now press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to your iPhone. After iPhone is connected it should power on the device.
Continue holding the Home button, you will see the Apple logo appear and then finally a "Connect to iTunes" will be displayed, now is the time to release the Home button.
Give it to Verizon or AT&T or Verizon or the police. You can Craigslist it as lost and challenge other people to give you details.
You really need to take it to sprint or verizon and get a contract with you. They probably have it as stolen so it wouldnt work correctly. But first before you do that. Get a note from work some how saying that you clamied it from work and they gave it to you.reasons are because so you won't get into trouble for it. Then they will restore it to factory settings with a brand new number and new everything on it. Its like the only way that cell phone would work.
Restore with itunes.
- I found in Iphone 5 on the bus and it has a passcode lock on it. How do it unlock it? I've tried plugging it into my computer and restoring it using itunes but the passcode lock doesn't allow me to do so. Any tips?

So i'm thinking of giving it to my sister since her phone broke but its locked from icloud. What can i do? I have the phones MEID & IMEI number. - What are my options? Its a waste to just throw it away.
- How to unlock found sprint iphone 4? Last tuesday i was at the bus stop coming back from the library and i found and iphone 4 that was left there and immidiately turned it off because i seen it had icloud and location and services turned on. Also the phone is locked. Today i turned it on at a restaurant and noticed it still had service on. How can i erase everything from it including the service and unlock it?
