Added (1). I plugged it into itunes and tried reseting it, but it says that i need to login to the iphone first, and i don't know the password. Does anyone know how to get past this? The phone has ios 9
I'm don't want to help someone that stole it so I'm gonna take your word for it and say you did "find" it. Put it on recovery mode in order to do that when you turn on the phone press and hold the power and home button then connect it to a computer. The computer should say it has found a iPhone in recover mode and will ask you if you want to recover it or something like that basically it will erase every single data meaning photos, apps, and contacts all of that stuff after it has completely doing that it should start up as a brand new phone
You'll need the Apple ID and password of the rightful owner in order to unlock the phone you've stolen. In the meantime, as soon as you turn it on, it will report its location to the owner.
