How do I unlock my iPhone 3GS on iTunes?
Added (1). I got a new phone which has recently broken so I'm returning to my iPhone 3GS for a bit until I get my new phone fixed. However, seeing as I haven't used this phone in 9 months, I don't remember the passcode. Is it possible for me to use iTunes to reset the passcode on my iPhone without restoring? This is purely because I know the newest IOS doesn't work so well on the older phones and I really don't want to have to ruin it. Any advice?
Use an older version of itunes to restore to 6.1.2 or 6.1.3. If your willing to put in a bit more work you can use Redsn0w.

- How to unlock an iPhone 3GS that has been reset to factory settings? My friend gave me her old iPhone 3GS. I reset it to the factory settings and was planning on taking it in to Tmobile to have it hooked up. My problem is i can't get in to any settings or anything now since it was restored.
