How to unlock the network on my iPhone?

I have a second hand iPhone which was previously on o2 and then giff gaff (which apparently both use the same network) and I'm on virgin so I want to unlock the network WITHOUT HAVING TO JAILBREAK MY PHONE. How would I do this as giff gaff don't have any shops and the o2 contract that was originally on the phone expired ages ago.

  • Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
