How to unlock the sprint iphone 4s to transfer to AT&T?
Just bought an iphone 4s 32gb from a friend and it is usng the sprint carrier. How do i unlock it to make the carrier to AT&T
You contact Sprint and ask them to unlock it. Generally they will put an unlock code on the phone and they you restore the phone using iTunes on a computer. You MUST use a computer to restore. It WILL NOT work ANY OTHER Way AT All PERIOD.
Then you get ahold of AT&T so they can give you a SIM and allow your phone to be used on there network.
Do not listen to the video posted. Yes in some cases Verizon phones can be used with Sprint, but that is because both carriers are CDMA. ATT is GSM. You Can't use any phone from Sprint on ATT because ATT runs off of different cell bands that the Sprint phone was not built to access. There's no way to unlock it for use with ATT.
