Plug iPhone into Computer, open iTunes, click Device, click Update, done.
EDIT: If the update isn't there, download the target Firmware from any site thirdparty or not. Save the file to somewhere you can path iTunes to it. Go to iTunes, hold Option (alt on windows) and click update.It'll ask what file you would like to update the device to. Choose the downloaded firmware.
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on.
