How to update ios 7 on used iPhone 5?
I purchased used iPhone 5, running with my apple ID, i want to update
my ios 6.1.4 to ios 7
many phones i noticed that ios 7 activation lock problems
so i loss my original owner contact, if i update my ios i can unlock with my
current apple id or original owner apple id
kindly help me please
Connect your iPhone to iTunes and then restore it. While restoring, iTunes shows a message "you want to update your iPhone 5 with new ios 7" something like that you then press yes it might take some hours to finish the update.
If find my iphone is on and signed in with the owners apple id then updating will not bypass this. The phone is stolen. Report to police.
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.

- Is the iOS 6.1 update on iPhone 3 safe to update? On my first iPhone there were problems, and the update didn't help it wiped out everything and among other things had to get a new iPhone. The iPhone I have now works, so should I risk this update? It's a 3GS.
