How to update ios on jailbroken iphone 4?
I have a Verizon Jailbroken Iphone 4 on ios 6.1.2 and i want to update it to ios 6.1.3 but when i go to software update it just says checking for update and it doesn't load up help!
Typically, you can't update ios with a jailbreak. I have never heard of this actually working. To update you would have to uninstall the jailbreak, than update, than find a jailbreak that is compatible with that update, and re install. Its way to much work, and I bet the update is just a simple bug fix that you won't ever encounter!
When you jailbreak an Ipod, the warranty dies AND Apple does not let you get any updates.
So basically if you did not back up your original I pod data you are screwed because apple has strong anti-piracy controls.
