How to Upgrade my iphone 3gs after it has been downgraded?
My phone was downgraded from a 5.1.1 to a 4.1. But now i can't download any apps. So i'm trying to upgrade it back to at least 4.3 at most 5.0. When i try to upgrade using itunes i get the 3194 error. Because i press shift and restore at the same time. I have redsnow and tiny umbrella. And my phone IS jailbroken. Any help?
Sync evreything on Itunes and restore evreything… This will lose all your jailbreak then you can update then re jailbreak
Maybes you should upgrade your phone… The 3GS is about 4 years old. Upgrade to a 5 and you'll notice the difference.
Haha! That was a fail iOS 4.1? Sorry but that was pretty poor planing because apple doesn't sign any more custom firmware but the latest which is iOS 6.1.3. There's of course a work around if you have your shsh blobs saved the 4.3 or 5.0 blobs. In which case you use redsnow and tiny umbrella to assist you.
- Why is my Iphone not holding a charge after it has been on the charger all day? It tays on while it is on the charger but after disconnection it turns off. I did drop it in water months ago so I know this contributed but is it able to continue to hold a charge ever.

I have recently bought a Blackberry however my old phone (iPhone 3GS) had been jailbroken so it was stuck on ios 3.1.2 and now I need to upgrade the software. I opened up itunes and tried to upgrade but it failed so I clicked restore and that failed as well. Now I have no access to my phone and the screen is a usb telling me to connect to itunes. - My iPhone 3GS has been randomly restarting itself The screen goes blank then the Apple logo appears, after a few seconds it returns to the home screen and whatever I'm doing is lost. It has been doing this every couple of minutes all day yesterday, then this morning it suddenly returned to normal. What caused this and how can I diagnose/repair future issues? The phone is switched off all night and it started when I switched it on yesterday morning.
