How to upload a cover photo via Facebook iPhone app?
I had seen the option before, but now when I go to my timeline, it won't show the "add photo" link to add a cover photo. I had just updated it yesterday (August 23, 2012) and I think the update changed it. Does anyone know how I can or if I still can upload a photo VIA MOBILE APP? I do not have access to a desktop, so that's why I'm trying to figure it on my phone. Btw, I have the iPhone 4.
Yes, that cover app dosent work for some reason anymore. It didn't work on my iphone 4s, and I bought a new phone yesterday which the app dosent work on it either. If you have internet on your phone, just search up 'Facebook Covers' and there's a website where it downloads it straight to your device or Facebook. The page will encourage you to download the app which your having trouble with, but click the X. Sorry about that.
As you login in to Facebook tap over your name to view your profile.
It shows your profile pic and the cover photo with camera symbol to the right side. Tap over it and change the cover photo.

Step 1. Open the Facebook App.
Step 2. Once your Facebook app is open, click on Profilie.
Step 3. This will take you to your profile page. Click the carmera icon on the left of your screen.
Step 4. At this point it is up to you. Do you want to upload a picture you have already taken, or do you want to take one?
If you select 'Choose from Library' you'll be taken to a listing of your photos where you can choose a photo to upload.
Once you select a photo you'll have the chance to write a caption (or not).Tap the 'Upload' button and the photo will be posted to your Facebook wall and automatically added to a 'Mobile Uploads' album on your Facebook 'Photos' tab. Then you can choose a photos for your cover photos.
I also no longer have the option to click the camera icon to change my photo as others are suggesting. Yes it used to work, but on the new update the camera icon is not there. Also I can no longer find the option to delete photos from within the app anymore. Pretty irritating. Not much of an update as far as I'm concerned.
