How to upload my iPhone 5 music to my MacBook Pro?

I just bought a MacBook for school, and I'm having trouble getting my iTunes music into my Mac. All of my music, was purchased legally, through iTunes and I'm still having trouble. All of my pictures transferred over very quickly, and easily but I a having a hard time with the music.

I remember having this problem too. You can share your music via Bluetooth (I think if you make your phone a discoverable device, its music will appear in your iTunes when the devices are close). Another option is to plug in and sync, then in iTunes on your laptop choose Transfer Purchases (its on one of the main dropdown menus at the top, but I can't remember which right off).
