How to use a t mobile sim card on iphone 5?

I know its called jailbreaking right? I'm gonna get an iphone this weekend and i just want to know what are the risks if i don't do it right. How do i jailbreak it? Better yet, what are the steps to making my t mobile sim card work with it? Do apple employees let you buy the phone itself without contract to at&t? If i told them i'm going to use it but not with at&t, would they allow me to buy it?

You need to buy it unlocked or buy it without a contract, two different prices.

  • Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

  • Changing from normal sim card to iPhone 4 sim card? I'm an AT&T customer with a smart phone. I'm wanting to buy an iPhone 4 but I know they take smaller sim cards than normal phones. If I buy an iPhone from an individual, can I take it to AT&T and have them give me a smaller sim card & transfer my information? Would I have to pay extra for it? Is it even possible?
