How to use a virgin mobile iPhone 4S in Ecuador?
So I bought an unlocked iPhone 4S from virgin mobile here in America. ( I'm going to Ecuador this summer ) And I was wondering if I take it to Ecuador this summer and use their carrier called "Claro", will I still be able to use virgin mobile when I come back to America?
If its unlocked it will work with claro, porta and movistar but it will not work with alegro. They are primarily CDMA.

- Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile? I'm moving to Houston this summer and I'm looking for a cheaper cell phone plan. I talk, text, email, fb etc. I had virgin mobile back in 2004 and I love it and had no problem. I have a android galaxy s3 right now which I love but the battery isn't so great. I'm thinking about possibly buying an iPhone. What I'm really looking for is reviews on virgin and boost mobile. If you have any other cheap cell phone plan carrier suggestions I'm up for that too.
- Virgin Mobile iphone 4s: Does it work on T-mobile? If I purchased the unlocked iphone 4s from Virigin mobile would I be able to use it on T-mobile? Does anybody know if the virigin mobile iphone has a spot for a sim card like the ones T-mobile uses?
- Virgin Mobile Canada to virgin mobile USA? So I bought an iPhone 4S that is locked to bell which they say is compatible with virgin mobile Canada carrier, but I'm moving back to United States soon if I unlock it I can use it in united states on the usa Virgin mobile carrier right?
- Should o bring my electronics (iPhone) to Ecuador/ The Galapagos? I'm going on a two week school trip to Quito, Ecuador. We will be traveling down the Amazon (Napo river) and we will also be going to the Galápagos Islands with a tour company. I'm like any teenager and love and value my iPhone (and I'm not getting another of if this one gets broken or stloen) This place will be beautiful and there will be so many photos to take. I'm wondering if I should leave my phone at home in the states are risk it with me.
