How to use AT&T Iphone 3G with Straight Talk sim?
I bought a used AT&T iphone 3g, and placed my Straight Talk sim card I had in a straight talk phone in it and the iphone says no service. Can someone help me? I don't understand the iphone at all. I downloaded unlockit on it and it still doesn't work? What else do i need to do to make my straight talk sim work in this iphone?
Actually, you'll need StraightTalk SIM that's used for AT&T phones. Take the phone and the SIM to StraightTalk and get it fixed.
You have to buy a Straight Talk sim card for $15 from the Straight Talk website. You can't remove a sim card from a Straight Talk phone that has been already activated. Straight Talk "locks" their sim cards to the phone that they are activated with.
Then you will have to contact Straight Talk and transfer service from your current phone to the new phone that you want to use.
- Which iPhones can use a Straight Talk SIM Card? I want to buy an iPhone that can be used for Straight Talk off of eBay, but I'm not sure which ones I can use? From the iPhone, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4G, and 5, which are compatible?
- What SIM card should I use to put my unlocked Verizon Iphone 5c on straight talk? I just purchased a GSM unlocked Verizon Iphone 5c and am currently trying to put it on straight talk. I've purchased the BYOP kit from walmart and I know I need to use the nano sim but IIm not sure if I should use the at&t compatible SIM card or the T mobile? Or does it not matter? Any feedback would be really appreciated.
- IPhone activation failed using straight talk SIM? I got an iPhone 3, used. I have a straight talk phone, with a SIM The iPhone I got was unlocked from AT&T. I put the SIM in and nothing happens. I go to iTunes and it says activation is failed.
- If I buy an iphone 3gs, and use one of the straight talk sim cards, will it work? I have seen on the internet that you can have a normal iPhone 3gs, and use a straight talk sim card with it made for 3/3g/3gs for ATT, and it will work with unlimited talk/text/data plan for 45$ a month. I'm wondering is this true before I go buying everything? Also, how will I know if it is unlocked?
