How to use iphone navigation without data?
I don't have unlimited data but I want to use the navigation/apps that siri uses without gobbling up all my data… I know you can do it on android
Make sure location services are on. Set your route with data on, and let it find your current location and plan your route. Once guidance has began turn off data and the iphone will use its gps to track you. The only problem you will have is that your phone will be unable to recalculate our route if needed, as it uses the internet to do this.
There are apps that can do navigation offline available. Try looking for one of those.
- Why is Live Traffic on Iphone maps not showing up during navigation? When I use Apple Maps it only shows live traffic when I'm not using the turn by turn mode. As soon as I start it to give me directions the traffic data goes away. Anyway to fix this? I have turned on the traffic. Hence why it shows up before I start the turn by turn.
