Why is Live Traffic on Iphone maps not showing up during navigation?
When I use Apple Maps it only shows live traffic when I'm not using the turn by turn mode. As soon as I start it to give me directions the traffic data goes away. Anyway to fix this?
Added (1). I have turned on the traffic. Hence why it shows up before I start the turn by turn. The traffic data vanishes once its giving me directions
Actually you first need to switch on the traffic condition feature. It's simple, go to the Maps app and get directions to a location or simply locate yourself on a map by tapping the arrow button in the bottom left corner.
Once you've done this, tap the icon in the bottom right corner that looks like a page turning up. This is where you access the Maps app options, including the traffic conditions option.
- Unusual Traffic detected on google from my iPhone? So, over the last week google has been giving me the "sorry unusual traffic has been detected" page sometimes giving me a captcha, but never actually letting me search. I have a iPhone 4, not jail broken, and it only happens when I use the AT&T 3G network. I google things really often, but I don't think it's "unusual". I've tried clearing the cookies and data and that hasn't worked and I submitted details to google.

- Old GPS or iPhone maps or google maps app? I'm going to drive from IL down to SC and I don't trust my old garmin nuvï 255 nor iphone maps lol:-) GPS update is $50 which I'm not going to spend. So has anyone used iphone maps or google maps app on long distance trips? Or I just better use old gps?
- Iphone have detected unusual traffic? Earlier I did a simple Google search. I got this message Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. Its kind of freaking me out! I don't know what has caused this to happen. Use vpn, its not a virus and there was no one else at home so no other traffic from the network. Does any have any suggestions why this is happening and is it common?
