How to use iSimple in my Acura TSX?

I recently bought a used 2005 Acura TSX. It came with an Ipod cord that says iSimple on it and when I plug my iPhone in nothing happens. I can't tell if the cord is actually connected to anything because I would have to take apart my car. However there's a switch next to where the cord comes out and if I turn it on and off the radio becomes static. Any suggestions before I have to take it somewhere to get it looked at? I would really like to listen to my music in my car!

Plug the cord into your iPod and start some music playing. Turn on the switch, and tune the radio to 87.9 or 88.3. You should be able to hear the music from your iPod on one of those stations.

  • When you use the amazon cloud on you iphone does that use data? Okay so for Christmas I got an iphone 4s and I have music on the amazon cloud that I want to listen to on my iphone. I have to be careful with how much data I use (especially since my brother can go a bit overboard) So I was just wondering whether just listening to the music on the amazon cloud uses data or not.
  • ISimple Tranzit Blu ISFM21 issues? Lets get the obvious out. I installed everything perfectly. And it plays perfectly. But when I pause any music or sound source after 6 seconds I get static. I'm trying to utilize the iPhone app tuner but I'm finding the app useless. Can anyone help? Again all my connections are perfect and synced. • If I use personal hotspot on iPhone, will it use my Wi-Fi or data plan? There are 2 computers in my house. One of them won't connect to the router. So I figure while my iPhone has Wi-Fi access, I can turn on personal hotspot and make the computer connect to the iPhones personal hotspot
  • If I use my own home Wi-Fi on my iPhone will that use up my data? Ok so I got an iPhone and I only have 300 mb on it. I'm using my own Wi-Fi at home and it says that I already used 3.94 of my data. I thought that if you use your own Wi-Fi, data won't be charged. And I put my cellular data off. So is there a way to use your own Wi-Fi and not get charged?
