How to use Wi-Fi for facetime on iphone?
So, i have an iphone 5 and you can use facetime without Wi-Fi. But i want to use Wi-Fi, because facetime uses A LOT of data. And i used it one day while my Wi-Fi was on, and it still used my data. So how do i make it use my Wi-Fi?
In setting turn off your cellular data and connect to Wi-Fi then use FaceTime. It's strange this happens to you
- Why doesn't my iPhone 4S have FaceTime in the settings, can't use? Had my iPhone 4S replaced due to a cracked screen about a month ago. Since I replaced it I have not had iMessages or FaceTime, tried to turn it on and play with settings within my Settings but there's not FaceTime setting available. I know it should be there but is here any reason it wouldn't be? And what can I do to fix it besides a trip to the apple store?
- What's the earliest/ cheapest type of ipod/ iphone I can use free Facetime with? Most of my phone bill goes towards texting and phone my girlfriend, so it would be much cheaper to just buy whatever I need to use Facetime or whatever it's called to do video calls over my Wi-Fi. What's currently the cheapest model capable of this? But which model of ipod? The very first one?
- Is Facetime free to use between different countries? I live in the UK and can Facetime my sister in Australia with the SIM card in my iPhone but when I tried it without the SIM card it wouldn't let me do it. This makes me think I'm being charged for it. Any thoughts?
- I restricted FaceTime from my child's iPhone 5s but she can still make FaceTime calls to her friends because there's a video icon? There's a video icon next to her friends name in her phone list. How can I completely remove this icon please?
