How will I know my iphone is unlocked?

I filled out a form online to have my iphone unlocked with vodafone and they said it should be ready in the next couple of days, all I need to know is can I just put my sim in and try turning it on or will I need to have a Wi-Fi connection to see if it has worked?

Don't buy an iphone lol but umm you're a *** idiot lol

Just put your SIM in and see if the phone is unlocked.

You can know if it is unlocked once you put your SIM card in it, you don't need Wi-Fi to figure it out, you just need service.

No actually you if its turned on i think you can do it without Wi-Fi i use Wi-Fi anyway but i don't like iphones so it may need Wi-Fi… Sorry

To know your phone is locked or unlocked:
Switch on your mobile phone with a Sim card from a network other than the network you are currently with. If you are able to use the phone, you can be sure that your phone is not locked. If your phone displays an error message saying "Wrong Sim" or "Incorrect Sim" or "Emergency calls only", etc., then your phone is probably locked (or) If you still have doubt, you can contact http://www.wickedunlock.com/contact-us/rs11wp23/ they will help you.

If your iPhone is locked you can unlock it easily through Remote Unlocking Service. You can get this service at low cost from the site http://www.wickedunlock.com/apple-iphone/rs16wp9/ by giving the details like IMEI number of your phone, Country, Network provider to which it is locked. After unlocking it you can use freely any GSM network SIM card. This is a permanent unlocking service.
