HP Dv7 not connecting to wireless?

My HP Dv7 has been working fine since I bought it in December from best buy. I sent it back once for screen problems, but I'm sure it's nothing to do with this. My computer keeps telling me there's no wireless adapter connected, but it's an internal adapter that I never had to connect in the first place. My iPhone is connected to my Wi-Fi perfectly fine and I just wanna know what the problem is? Any help would be appreciated. Also, it might be that I have to update the driver but I can't get my computer online to do that /

The majority of laptops (including those from HP) have an on/off switch or button for the wireless adapter.

Look for the orange radio tower symbol. (Typically north of the keyboard with some other lights near it.) When the light is orange, it's off. When the light is blue, it's on.

This problem is EXTREMELY comon and if you ask me, laptops should not have the ability to turn off the wireless adapter. Too many people turn it off by mistake and don't know what they did.

This switch to turn your Wi-Fi adapter on or off could be a:
1. Button (Older HP Laptops)
2. Switch
3. Touch sensative light (Most likely)
Dv7 is not enough information to help show you where the the switch.

If the light is already blue and you can't see a wireless adapter in the device manager then you likely need to install the drivers and if that doesn't work you might have a hardware issue.
