Is there an adapter with AC/Wall Plug Input and USB output?
Trying to find essentially the opposite of an iPhone cable. IIm wondering if there exists an adapter that will allow me to plug a wall outlet into a USB port. If so, let me know where I can find it!
That doesn't exist.
Although it's possible to build such a thing, the output current would be extremely limited, to about 50 mA or so, even for USB I'd be very surprised if any existed.
- Will using a knockoff iphone charging wall adapter ruin my iphone? I know that knockoff iphone chargers are bad for your iphone, but will a knock off wall adapter have any effect or harm the iphone?
- I accidently pluged my iPhones audio jack into a plug that goes into a wall outlet? The plug that's on head phones that goes into your iPhone. Well this one did not go to head phones it went into the wall now my phone won't turn on.
- Can you charge iPhone 5 with generic wall adapter? I have an iphone 5 and a usb lighting cable, but I don't have an apple wall adapter made specifically for this phone. Can I use a random generic wall adapter that you would use for an android phone?
- Can I use the USB to wall adapter of an old iPhone for the iPhone 5? I have an old USB adapter which allowed me to charge my old iPhone 3gs with my USB cable through the mains. I just bought a second hand iPhone 5 and I didn't get the wall adapter with it. Can I use the wall adapter from the 3gs with the iPhone 5's lighting port cable thingy?
