I'm connected to the Internet, but I can't browse

For some reason, when I went on my computer last night, none of my Internet pages were loading. Everything that I use (iPhone, Mac book pro, Apple TV) will not load! It says that I'm connected to Wi-Fi with a full bars, but still it doesn't seem to work! I have a netgear router. If anyone can help me, it's much appreciated!

Added (1). I have all Apple products, so Windows directions don't really help. I've tried restarting the router multiple times with no change in result. I know I'm connected to the Wi-Fi, it's just that anything connected to the internet will not load.

Try this:
1. Press "start" and then "Run.".
2.Type: cmd
3.In opened window type: ipconfig /renew

Make sure that the external Wi-Fi switch on your computer is turned on. It looks like a small vertical line with 3 or 4 1/4 moon looking symbols on ether side.

The full bars tell you that you are connected to the router. Is the router connected to the internet? Check the cables. You may need to restart your router.

As I already said, you are connected to the router but the router is not connected to the internet. Are all the cables secure and intact? Are the appropriate lights on the router on or off? Has your internet provider shut you off? Have you tried getting an internet connection by plugging your MacBook Pro in to the ethernet socket on the router, if it has one? Can anyone else connect to the internet via your router from a different device? Can you access the router security settings to check if the router itself requires a broadband password for internet access or if somehow MAC level filtering has been set up to include your devices?

  • My iPhone 5 says it's not connected to the internet, but it is? It won't let me check weather, go on Safari, and Siri won't respond at all. Everytime I load one of those, it always says the same message. I got it almost a month ago, and I would hate to take it to the Apple/Verizon store to get it checked out. I already turned it off and back on for a few minutes, still didn't work. But the thing is, it IS connected to the internet!
