I'm having internet troubles?

I'm having sever issues with my internet connection. The problem only seems to be with my laptop as when I do a speed test on my iphone the internet speed is what I would expect it to be. I have been having this issue for several weeks and have tried several solutions such as restarting my modem, updating my internet drivers and changing my internet adapter settings, but nothing has seemed to work. The issue has seem to have come from nowhere and a talk talk technician came over and for the five minuets he was here the internet was great. I used to get a solid 15mb/s but now I'm getting 0.73mb/s on my laptop, I know that my internet card is working by the way, and on my phone I get 15mb/s. As of right now I have tried almost everything. I have managed to get it up to around about 14mb/s but after a few minuets it drops. I have tried this with and without my phone connected but nothing has changed.

A minuet is an 18th century dance.

Sounds like you have some sort of malware on your laptop. Run a scan to clean it up.

  • Troubles with iPhone AppleID? Most times I try to get an app it says my password is incorrect so I always have to reset it. This time it told me my answers didn't match & my birthday was incorrect… I had too many failed attempts & now it won't let me try for 8 hours. Really ticked off… Anyone else have these problems?
  • Second hand iPhone Troubles? I bought a second hand iPhone from eBay, but it previously belonged to someone else. The phone is linked to the Apple ID of the old owner and I don't know it. Is there a way for me to still use the phone?

  • Itunes, iphone5, mac troubles? I'm trying to connect the iphone 5 to my iMac (2007) but it needed the lastest version of itunes. So i downloaded latest version of itunes then it says it can only run in Mac OS 10.7 or later. Heres the problem, when i press software update, it doesn't find any updates at all. I looked up apple website and there's mountain lion which costs money. Any way to connect my iphone 5 to my iMac without spending more money?
