I can't delete songs from my iPhone, neither through iTunes or by swiping

I turned off iMatch and turned off Show all Music. There are still 200+ i want to delete to free up space.

You may try a 3rd party software like this iOS file manager. I always use it to delete songs and photos from my iPhone 5s, it worked fairly well, hope it helps you.

  • Why can't I delete some songs off Itunes? I have an Iphone 5s fully updated. I'm trying to delete some songs I don't listen to anymore in order to make more room. I've been able to delete most but some songs won't even give me the option. When I slide my thumb, the delete option won't show up. Is there something I can do besides restarting my phone? (I've already done a hundred times).
  • Why can't I delete or add songs onto my iPhone through iTunes 11.0.4? I can delete songs directly off of my iPhone but even if they're deleted, iTunes still says they're on my iPhone. I also can't delete any songs off of OR add any songs onto my iPhone through iTunes. What is happening. I have fully updated both my iPhone and iTunes.
  • New iPhone 5, but neither 3G or 4G comes up? I got an iPhone 5 brand new on EE yesterday. I can use the Internet when I'm connected to Wi-Fi, but in the top left hand corner it just has the signal bars and EE and the Wi-Fi bar, but when I go out the Wi-Fi bar disappears but is not replaced by 3G or 4G. Is this a fault in my phone or in EE?
  • If I delete songs off of my iPhone, will it delete them off of my iPod, too? My iPod and iPhone is connected to the same account. However I want my songs on my iPod but not on my iPhone. If I delete it off my iPhone will it take it off my iPod too?
