I can send text messages but not recive them?

I have a iPhone and I can send text messages that people recive and reply to but my iPhone can't recive the text messages people send to me.
I have tried resetting the mobile data setting and reset the phone numerous times but I still can't recive them.
I can make calls tho…
What is wrong?

  • My IPhone 7 Plus is not letting me recive calls or call people Whenever someone calls the calling screen comes up for a second but before I can hit the answer button it goes away. Then when I try and call them back it's goes to the calling screen but before it can even ring once it hangs up. This has happened with many different people so I know they arnt just hanging up or deneying my call. My carrier is AT&T.
  • My iPhone 4 won't send or recive pictures? I have straight talks unlimited package but my I phone 4 won't let me send or recive pictures. The cellular is on the mms is on I don't know what else to check
  • My iPhone 4 receives and sends text messages but can't send or receive photos? Barely bought a new iPhone 4, put my sim card into it and the iphone won't let me receive or send picture texts. I can send message texts and receive them, but not picture ones. It keeps giving me an error (red exclamation point) on by my picture. Tried all your suggestions. Still doesn't work and yes I can attach to emails and stuff but just can't text photos.
  • IPhone can't receive iMessages but it can send them? So today, my iPhone said 'waiting for activation'. I think I managed to fix that part. Now, I can send iMessages but can't receive them, I can receive iMessages on my Mac, but not my phone.
