I can't access my text messages on my iPhone 5s?
So my dumb friends kept sending me that "Isis shut down phone" thing where they send this message to you and it shuts down your phone temporarily. They kept spamming me after I told them to stop because I was expecting a text from my mother and it was important. Now I can't even access my text messages. I click on it and it just goes back to the home screen. I turned my phone off numerous times, and I even restarted the system and its still not working.
You need to do a hard reset to the phone by pressing the power and home button at the same time for a few seconds. If you did that and it didn't work take it to apple.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- If I turn off push messages on my iphone 4 will I still get my regular text messages? I read that turning off push messages or setting them to manually helps save battery life. I want to know if I do this will I still be able to receive my regular text messages.
- I can't access my text messages on iphone? Last night all of a sudden I couldn't view my messages. Whenever I try to view them the application just crashes. It's already been a while and I keep trying but it never works. I've turned off my phone multiple times, but I'm not sure what else to do? I tried seeing if I could view them on my computer, and from there delete messages, because maybe that was the issue. But I'm having no such luck. Advice please?
